Shift Supervisor – Part-Time (Care Department)
$17.50 an hour plus shift differentials.
The Role
As a member of our leadership team, the Shift Supervisor reports to the Care Manager and oversees all aspects of care delivery during their shift, including monitoring staff tasks, ensuring a positive resident experience, making certain that all aspects of the shift run smoothly, and delegating work to the care team during their shift. As a champion of the services we provide, our Shift Supervisor leads by example and fosters a sense of teamwork and cooperation amongst the staff. Other duties include:
- Collaborates with care leadership team to ensure continuity of care and clear communication amongst the care team as a whole
- Oversees 10-15 direct care staff members per shift
- Ensures resident needs are met, updating point of care system as needed
- Coordinates with management to ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed
- Seeks coverage for call-offs during shift and in advance of upcoming shift(s)
- Steps in and works as direct care staff or Med-Tech when needed
- Trains and coaches employees as needed
This is a part-time position scheduled to work two consecutive days per week from 7:00pm-3:00am on a rotating schedule. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pick up additional direct care shifts if desired.
Qualifications
- Two years of caregiving or Med-Tech experience
- One year as a lead, trainer, or employee coach, preferably in an Assisted Living environment
- Proficient in the Microsoft Outlook
- Capable of timely and accurate documentation in the point of care system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment DOJ/FBI criminal record clearance, TB test, drug screen, and employment history/professional reference verification. Must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in English. EOE.

This is a full-time position on a 4 day on – 2 day off rotating schedule working two days from 3:00am-11:30am and two days from 11:00am-7:30pm.
