Administrative Assistant

Full Time

Samaritan Village is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and clerical support functions for the Dining Services Department. This position provides an opportunity to utilize an array of administrative skills from reporting, account reconciliation, and inventory monitoring to recruiting assistance, employee support, and the creation and maintenance of various administrative processes and systems.

Required Skills

The successful candidate must have:

Office experience including reviewing/generating reports, maintaining databases, and reviewing employee schedules

A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs

The demonstrated ability to learn new programs and processes

A focus on customer service with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations while maintaining a positive demeanor

Leadership skills and the ability to train other team members within the department

Excellent communication skills

The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

What Will Set You Apart

Experience working in the food industry or the senior living industry

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
