Activity Assistant

Part-Time

Would you like a Monday-Friday part-time work schedule?

If yes, Samaritan Village is looking for two part-time Activity Assistants to join our Resident Services team!

Position Overview

Our Activity Assistants are passionate about providing creative activities for our residents including art, games, outings, and themed parties. The two available positions are part-time (20 hours per week) and are scheduled to work Monday-Friday.

Required skills and abilities include:

Ability to perform a range of simultaneous duties

Good judgment and the ability to recognize when it’s time to pivot

Compassion

Great communication

Ability to work independently

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs

What will make you shine:

Experience working in an Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing environment

Experience working with seniors or individuals with cognitive impairments

Previous work in a creative environment

Requirements

A pre-employment/post offer DOJ/FBI clearance, negative TB test, negative drug screen, clear health screening, and employment history/professional reference verification.
