The successful candidate is a forward-thinking problem solver with strong customer service and leadership skills and a proven track record of successive career growth in a professional restaurant environment (minimum seven years required).
Experience in employee coaching and the ability to implement change is critical. As a key member of the leadership team at Samaritan Village, this position will be responsible for all food production and related dining services in our community. The Village Gardens Restaurant is the focal point of all food and beverage services at Samaritan Village, and your primary objective will be to exceed the expectations of our residents.
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for staff (with a focus on productivity, professional development, and efficiency), and will be the driving force behind the food service components of new business ventures. The Executive Chef / Food & Beverage Manager will also play a key leadership role in coordinating and planning all special events held at Samaritan Village.
Executive Chef Certification (CEC) preferred. Experience with seniors is a plus. This is a full time position.
